b) Today's Offering (Nov 8, 2024): released in advance of November 11. 





Marking the official conclusion of "the  Great War" (World War I), "Armistice Day", was observed on subsequent anniversaries of November 11, 1918. The name of the observance was changed to "Veterans Day" in the United States, and to "Remembrance Day" in British Commonwealth countries.
